Winter 2022 Fundraising Drive

Winter 2022 Fundraising Drive

“By its editorial choices, Epiphany demonstrates faith in its readers’ sophistication and readiness to step beyond the narrow province of beautiful, yet decorous, narrative. In short, Epiphany is not afraid to issue a dare: Read something different.”

-Celeste Mohammed

Looking to donate this season? Please consider us—Epiphany is currently conducting our Winter 2022 fundraising drive.

As we’ve seen this past year, literary magazines are finding themselves in a precarious place with so many of those we love and respect closing. We look forward to new visions of our literary future in 2023, but to continue to be a true laboratory of literature we need your help. If Epiphany has meant anything to you, please consider donating to our Winter fundraising drive.

“…one of the very best literary journals this country has ever seen. Here’s to another fifteen years of Epiphany!

- Gary Shteyngart

Each donation will help us:

- Fund the Fresh Voices Fellowship, supporting one emerging BIPOC writer who does not have an MFA and is not currently enrolled in a degree-granting creative writing program
- Fund the Breakout Writers Prize, which honors and supports outstanding college and graduate student writers
- Publish two print issues a year
- Pay print and online contributors
- Provide opportunities for mentorship and prizes
- Ensure further equity in our publishing practices
- Help to further Epiphany’s reach

“A lot of journals need support, but Epiphany is at the top of my list because they truly value their authors and readers, and they’re no fly-by-night operation. 20+ years is a feat for any journal, and especially so for an independent non-profit without institutional support, but it didn’t happen—and can’t keep happening—without help.”

- Katie Cortese

Thank you for being there for us every day and being part of the Epiphany community. We couldn't do any of this without you!
